Are ya comin Christmas

Christmas Eve in front of the tree with matching jammies!

That were even personalized! Thanks Grammmie :)

Justin enjoying the empty boxes. You might think he is excited but actually this is what he does when you ask him if he is cold. It is so stinkin cute!

Jacob roughin up dad with his new sword. The castle bouncer in the background is what Santa brought and the kids love it. They spend alot of time in it.

I bet some people thought I would never get this post up but here it is... Christmas was great. My parents, Cheyenne's parents, and Grandma Myers were all here christmas eve. We did fondue and had lettuce wraps (pf changs style) and some other finger foods. It was delicious and lots of fun to have everyone here. My parents stayed and were here for the Christmas morning ordeal. Jacob woke up at about 6:30 and I asked him if he was ready to see if Santa came or if he needed more sleep he said "I need more sleep" and rolled over and went back to sleep. About 20 minutes later the same conversation happened and Jacob responded with "I just need one more nap" Finally about 30 minutes later he was ready to get up and see what Santa brought. Then I made him wait while Chey got the video camera ready. Anyway the kids were thrilled Jacob was so surprised to see that Santa ate his cookies. He has never really liked to open presents but this year there weren't enough for him to poen. So he opened mine and Justins too. Justin doesn't want to open presents he just wants the toys out so he can play with them. I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and hope you have a safe and Happy New Year!

Santa, Ella's Dress, and a New Do

Last week we went to see santa. As I knew would happen Jacob would not have anything to do with him. I didn't give Coop much of a choice and he wasn't too sure but he never cried. I finally convinced Jake to sit by him if I sat right with them. So unfortunately you have to look at me to see my kids with Santa.

Here is this years christmas dress for Ella. I finished it last night at 11 pm hoping to get it sent off so she could wear it on Sunday (if Sall takes them to church). If all goes right it should arrive on Saturday (nothing like waitin for the last minute). Not to brag or anything but I think it turned out so stinkin cute. Wish I got to see her in it on Christmas Eve. Love you guys. Miss you and I'm thinkin of you always.

I couldn't take my hair anymore so one visit to my new stylist and TADA! The new me. I have actually had a few people fail to recognize me. I afterwards thought that I am just getting to know some people in Pinedale and maybe it wasn't such a good idea as I am now afraid I will have to introduce myself all over again. But I love it!!!

Marvel Comics Presents....

Spider-man and Naked Baby save the day!!!!!!

Jacob really really really wanted a spider-man costume. We have had fits a couple of times a week for the last three weeks or so over this costume. I had full intentions of not giving it to him until christmas, but when it got here yesterday I couldn't resist. We made him sit on the chair with his eyes closed and his daddy brought it to him. He was so excited I wish I would have gotten a picture of his face when he saw it. Needless to say it brightened his day and ours and he hasn't taken it off since.

Spider-man has boots ya know. However after putting these on he decided they did not run fast enough or sideways so they were definitely not spider-man boots. He is now sporting his rubber boots and so far this morning those are sufficient.

Today's Adventure

We got out of the house today FINALLY! I had had enough of sitting in the house. So we drove up the road with Grandma to some big rocks up towards Big Sandy. It was pretty nice out and the kids had fun climbing around. We took the dogs so they could some excersize too. We planned on building a fire and roasting hot dogs, but the kids ran out of steam before we got to it. But it was still nice to get out. Thanks Grandma.

Justin got awful tired

Coop's first haircut

On Monday night I gave Justin his first haircut. Neither of my boys have very much hair but his was getting a little long in the back. Daddy needed a haircut so I decided I would just cut Justin's too. He sat relatively still and he looks SO HANDSOME!

The hair we cut off

doesn't he look happy

Snow Finally!

I was looking out at the hay field the other day and having a hard time believing that shortly there will be so much snow in it that we won't be able to walk across it. I have been waiting patiently for the snow and here it is. It is one of those absolutely beautiful snows when the wind is not blowing and it is just drifting nicely to the ground! I LOVE IT. This feels much more like December is supposed to feel!
